A video that will take you by shock is from Nigeria's Lagos city where a man forced a plane to halt its takeoff journey before climbing atop its wing and reportedly put a bag inside one of the engines.

The incident took place with an Azman plane on July 19, 2019, at the domestic section of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria.

As per CNN reports, the man walked towards the aircraft on the runway and was spotted by the pilot, who slowed down and later turned off the engine as the man continued to wander around the aircraft, Azman Air said in a statement. He then jumped onto a wing of the plane and tried to access the cabin, the airline said.

Otto Orondaam, a passenger on the plane, who posted about the shocking experience on his Instagram account said that "For 30 minutes we have been stuck at the runway... by an unidentified man who ran to the aircraft with a bag. Security has not showed up and everyone is panicking. I have so many questions to ask but right now I can't even breathe."

Following panic on the runway, the man was arrested and the plane returned to its terminal where passengers safely disembarked.

"Thanks to the Pilot of the Azman Airline for quickly observing and taking swift action. I still have a million and one questions to ask cos anything could have gone wrong! Nigeria will work perfectly someday. This I know," finally Orondaam wrote.

CNN report further states that, the man was caught by the airport security and the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) later released a statement on their official Twitter account where they identified the man as Usman Adamu.

Further clarifying over the incident FAAN said, "FAAN views this breach as a serious security concern and has commenced [an] investigation to ascertain the remote and immediate causes of this incident to forestall future occurrence."
