Kobe Bryant’s Body Recovered; Manager Reveals Player Was Used to Dangerous Stunts on Helicopter
Home > News Shots > World newsMost of us are still recovering from the aftermath of losing one of the greatest sporting legends of all-time – Kobe Bryant, who perished with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and seven others on Sunday morning when the helicopter they were flying in met with a deadly accident and crashed in Los Angeles, California, a little into take-off.
Now, South China Morning Post reports that Kobe’s remains alongside the others have been recovered with him being identified with the help of his fingerprints.
Media reports cite that Kobe was a frequent copter traveller, using it to beat the LA traffic. Rob Pelinka, the manager of Los Angeles Lakers, with whom Bryant had a 20-year-old association, said that Kobe once played a prank on him using the copter.
Bryant had the pilot do military manoeuvres on the chopper with Pelinka on board, and even turn the engine off in mid-air, cites a report in the New York Post.
“My life was flashing before my eyes. I almost had a heart attack. Kobe’s just sitting there calm and collected,” Pelinka was quoted as saying.
