Chinese business tycoon Jack Ma, the founder of the Alibaba, has been grabbing the headlines recently with his statements. The 66-year-old was recently criticized for endorsing the ‘996’ Chinese work culture, which asks employees to work twelve hours a day (9am-9pm), six days a week.

In a highly controversial statement, the man who is one of the richest in China, asked everyone to follow the spirit of ‘669’ for an improved life. Which means sex for six days, six times, with duration being the key.

According to Hindustan Times, Ma was speaking at his company’s mass wedding which takes place every year on ‘Ali Day’ on May 10 at the company’s headquarters in Hangzhou. He said, “At work, we emphasize the spirit of ‘996’. In life, we should follow ‘669’.”

People soon took it to Twitter to show their disagreement.
