As more than 1 million positive cases have been confirmed globally, the death toll world wide has crossed the mark of 88,000.

Among most of the affected countries, United States has recorded nearly 2000 deaths in 24 hours for the second consecutive day which has taken the total coronavirus death toll in the US to 14,000.

Shockingly, New York has become the epicenter of America's coronavirus crisis, where doctors and nurses are shocked to see patients deteriorating and dying. As per a Reuters report, the number of coronavirus infections in New York alone has reached 150,000 on Wednesday.

With the rise in cases and death, US President Donald Trump earlier warned India of retaliation if US doesn’t get the anti-malaria hydroxychloroquine to treat Covid-19 patients.

After India sent the US order for hydroxychloroquine, Trump has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said US will remember this favour.

Looking at India's cases and death toll, there are nearly 550 cases in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India has past 5,700 while the death toll has climbed to 166 with 17 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours across the country.
