Home > News Shots > World newsAn explosion which took place in the Arab Gas Pipeline has led to a power blackout in Syria. Based on the preliminary reports, the energy minister told the country’s state – run television on Monday that it could have been an attack.
The Ikhbariya TV Channel displayed footage of a huge fire following the explosion. According to the officials’ statements to state media, the explosion occurred between the Syrian towns of Ad Dumayr and Adra, situated in the northwest of the capital of Damascus.
