Factory In China Hosts 'Kissing Contest' To Celebrate Lifting of Lockdown, Leaves Twitter Angry!

In a bizarre and shocking case, the employees of a Chinese factory hosted and celebrated the COVID-19 lockdown by organising a 'kissing contest' recently. A social media post from the event, is currently going viral and also making thousands of netizens feel “disgusted”.

As per a Republic World report, furniture factory called ‘Yueya’ organised the event with reportedly ten couples, who kissed each other through plexiglass. Few videos and pictures from the contest created an outrage on social media amid deadly coronavirus outbreak. 

In the viral photos, the staff members of the furniture company can be seen in uniform and happily indulging in the activity. This event took place in the city of Suzhou, in East China’s Jiangsu province.  

Soon after the post and videos went viral, internet users slammed the authorities for such an event and even called them “senseless” especially at the time when the world is combating the coronavirus outbreak. That's why, such an event in China fueled fresh outrage against the people and current situation.

Till date, China, has denied all accusations regarding reports of the outbreak of the virus. So far, the virus has infected over 2.4 million people across the globe, while most parts of the world are in complete shut down.
