Donald Trump Warns of ‘Toughest Week’ with a ‘lot of death’!
Home > News Shots > World newsUS President Donald Trump on Saturday warned Americans of a “lot of death” while urging them to brace themselves for the “toughest week” ahead.
“This will be probably the toughest week, between this week, between this week and the next week,” Trump told reporters at the daily briefing by the White House Coronavirus task force. “And there will be a lot of death, unfortunately.”
As of Sunday morning, more than 8,500 Americans have died due to the virus and the number of confirmed cases stands around 3,12,000. New York, New Jersey, Michigan and Louisiana remain the worst sufferers while Washington DC, Colorado and Pennsylvania are emerging worries, health officials have said as per a report by Hindustan Times.
“The next two weeks are extraordinarily important. This is the moment to not be going to the grocery store, not going to the pharmacy, but doing everything you can to keep your family and your friends safe, and that means everybody doing the six-feet distancing, washing their hands,” said Deborah Birx, the White House Coronavirus response coordinator.
