Donald Trump to Visit Sabarmati Riverfront During India Trip in February?
Home > News Shots > World newsGujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has said that it’s possible that American President Donald Trump is likely to visit the state and the Sabarmati riverfront during his proposed India trip in February, reports PTI.
"In entire Asia, the Sabarmati river has become the cleanest river which was ensured by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prominent leaders like Japan and Israel prime ministers also visited the riverfront and got surprised to see it. US President Trump will also come (to India) in February and he will also visit the riverfront," Rupani said. He, however, didn’t specify when Trump would be making the visit.
Government sources say that the dates for the Trump visit hasn’t been finalised though it’s been pinned for February 24 to 26.
Trump was to have arrived in India last year for Republic Day, however, scheduling conflicts meant that the same didn’t happen.
