Donald Trump Impeached by House of Representatives, Senate Trial Soon!

A majority of the Hourse of Representatives on Wednesday voted to impeach President Donald Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. While the first vote for abuse of power saw 230 ayes and 197 noes, the second one for obstruction of Congress had 229 vs 198 majority. The Senate is expected to conduct its trial next month.

This is only the third time in the history of the US that a President is impeached by the house. First it was Andrew Johnson in 1868 and then Bill Clinton in 1998.
