COVID-19 impact: Donald Trump to Suspend Immigration into US
Home > News Shots > World newsPresident Donald Trump on Tuesday said he was signing an executive order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States.
“In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!” the American President wrote on Twitter.
However, Mr Trump did not disclose details of the executive order and when he will be signing it.
As per reports by NBC News, COVID-19 cases in the United States surpassed 760,000, with 41,371 deaths.
