It is not easy finding scary reptiles like snakes and lizards at home. However, one such recent incident from Colorado, US has got everyone in splits.

According to a post on September 21 by the Montrose County Sheriff's Office, a family from Colorado called the cops complaining of a foot-long alligator on their porch. When the officers arrived and checked the porch, they did not find any alligators, but instead, a salamander.

The family had spotted the salamander and mistook it for an alligator. Along with photos of the salamander, it was written, "We never know what each call may bring, and this call is one of our favorites from the weekend(sic)"
