Air hostess accepts marriage proposal mid-air, loses job

A Chinese flight attendant realised much to her chagrin that accepting what seemed to be an innocuous romantic proposal from her boyfriend could cost her job. Talk about dry luck. 

A 26-year-old flight attendant surnamed Jiao, who was on a China Eastern Airlines flight from Xi’an to Yichuan was pleasantly surprised when her boyfriend of four years proposed to her on May 19 this year.

However, this tale had a terrible ending the professional way with services of Jiao being terminated by the company citing safety issues. The move had drawn mixed reactions from netizens.
