Home > News Shots > World newsThere's more good news for United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson who recently recovered from coronavirus and returned to work. The 55-year-old leader welcomed a baby boy with fiancee Carie Symonds.
A statement released by the couple said they had a “healthy baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning”. “The prime minister and Ms Symonds are thrilled to announce the birth of a healthy baby boy at a London hospital earlier this morning. Both mother and baby are doing very well. The PM and Ms Symonds would like to thank the fantastic NHS maternity team," a spokesperson said.
It is understood that Boris was present by his beloved's side during the birth. Congratulations have been pouring in for the wonderful couple.
Health secretary, Matt Hancock, tweeted: “So thrilled for Boris and Carrie. Wonderful to have a moment of unalloyed joy!”
