Young Austria Princess, Happily Married To Indian-Origin Chef, Suddenly Dies At 31
Home > News Shots > World newsIn a sad case, Austria Princess Maria Galitzine passes away in Houston after suffering a "sudden cardiac aneurysm" at the age of 31. She was happily married to Indian-origin chef Rishi Roop Singh.
Princess Maria Galitzine, lived in Houston with her husband and two-year-old son, Maxim. She married her love of her life in April 2017. She lived and worked in Brussels as well as in Chicago, Illinois and Houston.
Highlighting about early years of her life, she was born in 1988 in Luxembourg. The family later moved to Russia, when she was five-years-old. After graduation, she moved to Belgium to attend the College of Art and Design.
As per Fox News report, Maria worked as an interior designer in Houston where Singh is a renowned executive chef. Maria, was the daughter of Princess Maria-Anna and Prince Piotr Galitzine. She passed away on May 4 and cremated at the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston four days after her death.
As per an obituary, her son Maxim was described as "the apple of her eye". The happy and proud mother often shared photos of her son on Facebook. She has three sisters identified as Xenia Galitzine de Matta, Tatiana Galitzine Sierra and Princess Alexandra and two other brothers- Princes Dmitri and Ioann.
