The Russian attack on Ukraine has been going on for over 2 weeks. Thousands of soldiers have been killed in both the countries. The United States, the United Kingdom and Canada have all condemned Russia's war on Ukraine. Similarly, the struggle against war is also taking place in Russia.

Recently, a female journalist hit the headlines as she stormed a Russian news program to protest the war in Ukraine. As news was read live on Russia's state television Channel One, suddenly a young female journalist interrupted the live holdng a banner.

The placard read, "The sign, in English and Russian, read, “NO WAR. Stop the war. Don't believe propaganda. They are lying to you here." Another phrase, which looked like "Russians against war," was partly obscured.

The journalist is identified as Marina Ovsyannikova, and she is said to be working as an editor at Russia’s state TV Channel One.. It has been reported that she is currently in missing. Unofficial reports suggest that the Russian military might have arrested the reporter.
