With every passing generation, people are no longer interested in spending time at their office and home. More and more people are giving the traditional life a miss to travel the world and see more places.

Travelling websites and portals are targeting millennials, who love to pack their bags and set off for their next destination. However, ditching age old myths, a 68-year-old man from Germany decided to travel all around the globe!

At first glance, this doesn't seem uncommon. But the spectacular part about his journey is that he is doing all of this on foot!

According to a report in Northeast Today, Kuno Jakob from Germany reached the northeastern state of Assam on Wednesday, that too on foot. He is a farmer by profession and started this adventure around a year and a half ago. He travels with a two-wheeler luggage.

Speaking to Northeast Today he said that he had covered 14000 kms including 15 countries and 13 states in India.

As per reports, the German has successfully reached Barpeta, the remote area of Assam. From here he plans to visit Myanmar through Guwahati along with seven sisters of the Northeast.  Adding that the secret of his lifestyle is walking, Jakob wants to visit Indonesia, Australia, South America and North America.
