Elon Musk, an American businessman, has been trying to buy Twitter, one of the most popular social networking sites. Accordingly he came forward to buy 100 per cent stake in the Twitter company. He also said he was willing to buy a share for $ 54.20. Earlier, Elon Musk was invited to join the board of directors as he owns a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter.
In this context, it was reported that Elon Musk's offer was accepted by the Twitter administration. Accordingly, it was decided at the board meeting to pay $ 54.2 per share. It was reported that the contract will be finalized within this week.
It has been reported that Twitter has agreed to sell Elon Musk for $ 44 billion (Rs 3 lakh 30 trillion in Indian currency). The company has agreed to pay this amount in negotiations with the Twitter board. But no details have been released as to when the money transfer will officially take place and who will lead Twitter after that. Twitter is currently run by Parag Agrawal, an Indian.
