OnePlus set to Launch New 'Affordable' Smartphone for the First Time! Details.

Popular Smartphone Brand One Plus has finally announced its affordable smartphone series today. Most of the OnePlus smartphone make it to the list of best smartphones in the market however tech enthusiasts and consumers have been waiting for the company to launch mid-range and affordable smartphones. 

Several media reports speculate that OnePlusZ is going to be the new affordable smartphone that is in the making. The company announced the al new affordable smartphone series in its blog on Tuesday. The Company’s CEO Pete Lau stated, “As we’ve grown together with our community, we know that there are many people who want a really solid smartphone that meets their everyday needs, and for a more accessible price.”

Reportedly, One Plus Z aka One Plus Nord is most likely to be launched on July 10 after the launch of affordable smart TVs on July 2. The CEO confirmed that affordable smartphone will first hit the Indian and European market, followed by North America.

“As we have always done when we try something new, we are going to start relatively small with this new product line by first introducing it in Europe and India. But don’t worry, we’re also looking to bring more affordable smartphones to North America in the near future as well,” Lau noted.

Contrary to reports that said OnePlus will introduce a new sub brand, Lau pointed out that this is a new product lineup. “Today, I’m very excited to announce that we are bringing the premium, flagship experience that you’ve come to expect from OnePlus to a new, more affordable smartphone product line.”
