SBI ATM at Your Doorstep! Check How You Can Get Cash Through WhatsApp or Call
Home > News Shots > Technology newsAs a sigh of relief to bank customers, the State Bank of India (SBI) has recently introduced a doorstep SBI ATM service.
So instead of going to the internet and typing out 'SBI ATM near me', you can just send a WhatsApp message to SBI and a mobile ATM will come to your location.
As per Times Now report, Ajay Kumar Khanna, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Lucknow Circle announced this news to introduce SBI's new WhatsApp and SBI phone call service. Taking to social media platform Khanna said, "This Independence Day @TheOfficialSBI for the Lucknowites has introduced the facility of Mobile ATM at their doorstep. Just dial or WhatsApp to let us know and we will do the rest."
This new ATM service has been introduced in Lucknow; if the experiment succeeds, it will be implemented in other cities too. Below is the procedure as to how to avail the service:
- You just have to Whatsapp your name, address and mobile number on 7052-911-911 for registering your society.
- SBI doorstep ATM service will mainly help the senior citizens who can't go out with ease.
- Once the service is available across India, SBI customers will not have to feel the cash crunch anytime.
Another big relief to customers is, SBI recently waived-off charges for non-maintenance of SBI minimum balance limit and SBI SMS banking charges.
The lender shared the information saying, "Good news for SBI Savings Account holders! Now you don't have to pay charges for SMS service and non-maintenance of monthly average balance. #SavingsAccount #SMSCharges #MAB #SBI #StateBankOfIndia".
