Google's New Smart Jacket Will Warn You If You Leave Your Phone Behind

Google and Levi's Commuter X Jacquard smart jacket has gotten smarter as the former has introduced a new "Always Together" mode designed to prevent users from leaving their smartphone or jacket behind.

"'Always Together" is an automatic alert you can set up to trigger when the distance between your phone and jacket becomes too great. When triggered, notifications happen on both ends. So, your phone will get a notification, and the jacket’s signature sleeve tag will also blink and vibrate.

According to a report in Android Police, there is a manual “find your phone” option where an assigned gesture on the jacket could prompt your phone to ring at full volume.

Priced roughly around Rs 25,000, the Jacquard is a Trucker jacket from Levi’s which does a lot more. The jacket can help play music, notify about incoming calls, texts among other things. The jacket is aimed at those who are too much into all things smart.
