Apple to Launch Much Awaited New iPhone, iPads and Apple Watch Tonight: Details

The first major Apple event for the year 2020 will be hosted at 10:30 pm (Indian Standard Time) through an online launch programme on September 15. The event is called Time Flies wherein Apple is expected to unveil two new iPads as well as the Apple Watch Series 6. 

The company is also likely to unveil the AirTag and the Apple One service at the event tonight. Many people have shown interested in knowing whether iPhone 12 will launch tonight. Apple’s official invite to the Times Flies event on September 15 indicates that the event will be focusing on unveiling new products. 

“While there is no official confirmation, leaked information by Jon Prosser states that the Apple launch event on September 15 will include two new iPad models and an affordable Apple Watch SE alongside the Apple Watch Series 6,” Moneycontrol reported. 

The codenames and sizes of the Apple Watch SE were shared by Prosser. According to the leaked information, the watch will be having two variants. 

The Apple watch series 6 is also going to be a major update to the 5th one. Rumours indicate that the model has added health features as opposed to the design. New features such as Blood Oxygen monitoring sleep tracking and improved ECG are likely to be added. 

The New iPad will also sport a wide range of features. According to Evan Blass, it will have an Apple A14 chip, USB Type-C Port among other features. The budget iPad will sport a A12x chip and also have a lightning port at the bottom edge. 

"Apple is also tipped to bundle its subscriptions services and reveal more details at the Time Flies event tonight. According to 9to5Mac, there will be several tiers to the bundle options, including a base tier with just Apple TV+ and Apple Music as well as more premium bundles that include Apple Arcade, Apple News+, and iCloud storage,” Moneycontrol’s report cited.
