The 15th season of the IPL series is in full swing in India. So far 31 league matches have ended. Star Sports has acquired the rights to telecast the IPL series on TV for Rs 16,347 crore. The deal runs from 2018 to 2022. But the number of viewers watching TV this year is said to be lower than last year.

In this situation, the incident where a young man created a separate processor to watch IPL cricket for free has caused a stir. Star Sports TV executive Kadaram Thuppa from Hyderabad has lodged a complaint with the Cyber ​​Crime Police in 2021. Following this, the police led by Assistant Inspector Ravinder conducted an investigation.

It was then revealed that the person involved in the scam was Ramamurthy (29) of Kanjirangal area in Sivagangai district. He has developed and released a separate processor for watching the IPL series on TV for free. It is also said that some of the companies' advertisements were aired.

The police arrested Ramamurthy and produced him before the Sivagangai First Magistrate's Court and took him to Hyderabad. There the police are conducting a serious investigation into him. The incident, which created a stand-alone processor to watch in the IPL series, has caused a stir in cricket circles.
