A milk lorry was stopped yesterday afternoon in the water tank forest next to Uthangarai in Krishnagiri district. It was 3pm and no one came to pick up the truck. This was noticed by the police patrolling the area. Following this, the lorry was brought to the Uttaranchal police station

Did anyone kidnap the truck driver because the truck was parked in the woods? Or has something else happened to him? Police are investigating. Following this, they gathered information about the lorry driver and went to his house. The shock awaited the police then.

Anbalagan (age 32) hails from Chengan Kottavoor area near Uthangarai. He has been working as a milk truck driver. On the day of the incident he left the truck in the woods and had a drink with friends. It was then revealed that he forgot to stop the truck under the influence of alcohol and went home. The facts came to light only after the police went to the house of the driver Anbalagan at 9 am and brought him to the police station for questioning. In this case, the police advised the driver's friend and sent him home.
