Shocked by watching a video sent by his friend, Chennai youth calls police at midnight!

The incident where a youth from Chennai called the Erode DSP at midnight and saved the life of a friend has gone viral.

Lokesh hails from Velachery, Chennai. He contacted Erode's DSP Ananthakumar via his cell phone around 2 am yesterday. His friend Ajith Kumar who lives in Erode posted a video on WhatsApp saying that he had taken a sleeping pill to kill himself.

Friend's life threatening situation

As soon as Lokesh came to know about it, he was frightened in knowing that his friend's life is in danger. He immediately jumped into action to save his friend's life. He contacted DSP Ananthakumar and informed about his friend, Ajith Kumar also he had sent the latter's phone number too. Following which, the DSP immediately contacted the number.

Erode SP

When the DSP tried contacting Ajith Kumar, he did not pick up the phone. Following this, the police passed the information to the Erode SP office's control room and after tracing the location of the phone, they go to know that Ajith is in Appakkudal Punnam.

Sleeping parents

The Assistant Inspector of Police Govindaraj was informed about the matter. Police immediately went to the house of Ajith Kumar and found his parents sleeping in front of the house. 

Trauma at home

As soon as the police reached home, they and and Ajith's parents went inside the house and found the youth lying unconscious. Then, he was rushed to a nearby private hospital where he is being treated still. The incident in which the youth's life was saved by his friend at the right time has left everyone super-impressed.
