Just a few days before wedding, groom dies suddenly - bride takes this step which surprises all!

Near Nagapattinam, a young woman is living as a daughter to her family as her boyfriend died before marriage.

Sabari Krishnan, son of Govindaraj and Padmavathi, hails from Prabaramapuram village near Nagapattinam. Sabari, 26, has been working at the power plant. He and Revathi from Akkoor in Mayiladuthurai district had been in love for the last 10 years. In this case, the couple was engaged to be married to consent to their love.

Sabari Krishnan - Revathi's wedding was scheduled to take place on August 20 last year, but unfortunately Sabari was electrocuted while on duty in July.

Tragedy

The death of the groom Sabari Krishnan just a few weeks before the wedding has shocked the people of the area. His parents who were devastated by the loss of their son, were surprised to see the bride Revathi stayed there like their daughter and started doing chores.

Speaking on the occasion, Padmavathi said, "Revathi came to our house on the day of Sabari's death. Her parents took her away until all the ceremonies were over. Noted with concern.

Help not available

In this context, Sabari Krishnan's brother Venkateswaran said that when Sabari Krishnan died, the Electricity Board had announced that it would provide relief assistance of Rs 3 lakh and that one person at home would be given a government job.

Many are saddened that the teenager is still living as one of her family, as her boyfriend of 10 years has died before marriage.
