Wow! World's Tallest Cupcake tower built in Chennai

According to reports, a 41-foot and 8-inch tall cupcake tower was built on Monday in Chennai, thus making a new world record.

According to the Guinness World Records, the record was attempted by Preethi Kitchen Appliances and the Food Consulate Chennai. The tower made of 18,818 cupcakes, was built in Forum Vijaya Mall, Vadapalani.

All the cupcakes were made on site. The tower was built in 30 hours by a special team. Each cupcake reportedly weighed 70 g. After the tower was measured by a Guinness World Records Adjudicator, the cupcakes were distributed at NGOs.
