Health & Life: Unknown Fever took 'School Children lives' in Chennai and Kanchipuram!

Two health-related cases registered in Chennai and Kanchipuram caused the death of school children. As per Dhina Thanthi, Praveen Kumar, a 13-year-old schoolboy from Kanchipuram was studying class 8 in Government School, Kanchipuram. A few days ago, he was admitted to Kanchipuram Government hospital owing to fever and difficulty in breathing.

Reportedly, he returned back home after a while and again caught up with fever. Then, he was admitted to a private hospital in Walajabad. Later, doctors advised his parents to take him to Chengalpattu Government hospital. Unfortunately, Praveen Kumar breathed his last while he was on the way to the hospital.

In yet another incident, a 12-year-old girl Yogeshwari from Thiruttani caught up with a fever and admitted to a private hospital. She was sent to Tiruvallur Government hospital for further treatment.

But since the fever could not be treated, she was sent to Chennai Government hospital where she passed away. Yogeshwari was studying class 7 in a Government Schoool. In both cases, the doctors could not able to find the exact type of fever and its cause. The police officers in Thiruttani have a registered a case and an investigation is underway.
