Trichy Lalitha Jewellery Theft: One arrested! New details in case!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsIn Lalitha Jewellery, Trichy, robbers stole jewellery worth in crores wearing toy masks. CCTV footage of the incident was shared and police launched a probe and set up 7 units to nab the culprits.
Now, police have nabbed one accused who is identified as Manikandan. He was caught with 5KG worth gold jewellery. The other accused, Suresh, is yet to be caught.
Manikandan has said that the 5KG gold is his share. The barcodes matched with the missing jewellery. Suresh is also said to be a wanted accused Murugan's relative.
He was nabbed during a vehicle check in Thiruvarur. On seeing police, Suresh absconded from the spot while Manikandan was caught. Investigation is on and it is expected to give new information on the case.
