TNPSC Group 2 exam pattern has been changed yet again, reports Thanthi TV. Earlier, the state public service commission has announced that language part is being eliminated from the exam.

Following the announcement, political leaders have condemned the move by the government as it neglected Tamil language. Taking this into account, officials have said that the move has been made.

Prelims paper has been split into two papers. First paper will carry 100 marks of which it is mandatory for candidates to score 25 marks for their second paper to be evaluated.

This paper comprises questions majorly based on Tamil language, culture, etc. The second paper will contain questions worth 300 marks. Only this mark will be taken into consideration for qualification.

The officials have also said that from degree level the difficulty of the paper has been reduced to 10th grade level. The exam registration is expected to be open in couple of months.
