Minutes after the death of Indian soldiers in a violent face-off in eastern Ladakh, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has condoled the death of Tamil Jawan Palani, who died along LAC in Ladakh.

Yesterday night, an Indian Army officer and two soldiers were killed after a "violent face off" with Chinese military. This violent face-off between Indian and Chinese military forces took place amid heightened tensions between the two countries.

Highlighting the Tamil Nadu soldier, it is reported that Palani was killed in the attack by the Chinese army. He is a native of Kadukkalur village which is close to Thiruvadanam in Ramanathapuram district. 

Palani, has been serving the Army for 22 years and is currently 40-years-old. Meanwhile, one of his brothers also served in the army for 10 years.

Taking to social media, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy condoled Palani's death. He said, "I am deeply saddened by the news of the death of Mr. Palani, a Tamil Nadu soldier from Ramanathapuram - Kadukalur village, who was engaged in the security of the Chinese army attack on the #LadakhBorder area." 

Even, DMK leader Stalin condoled the death of Army personnel Palani. He tweeted saying, "My salute to all three Indians who have laid their lives in Ladakh. Palani has been in the Army for the past 22 years, and I pay my homage and my condolences to the family members."
