One Side Love: Young Engineer from TN makes Brutal Attack on Parents; Kills Self by Hanging with Belt!

A 25-year-old Engineering graduate committed suicide at his residence in Tamil Nadu’s Theni district after attempting to kill both his parents. The police began investigating the case and revealed details behind the horrifying crime.
Manoj (25) was residing with his parents at Kambam. His father Murugesan (60) retired as a Sub-Inspector. Manoj had reportedly fallen in love with a girl who resided in the same area. However, the other party did not reciprocate feelings. Recently, the girl got engaged to another man which had depressed Manoj.
Post her engagement, he had informed his parents about his feelings for her and asked them to get her married to him. However, both his mother and father were against it. On Sunday, Manoj woke up early and was leaving the house. His father who was alarmed by his behaviour tried to stop him. In the spur of the moment, he cut his father with a sharp weapon. When his shocked mother tried to stop him, he attacked her as well.
After doing so, he left to his room and locked himself in. Meanwhile, injured Murugesan, and his wife left the house and sought medical help from the nearest hospital. From there, the police were informed. When the police reached Murugesan’s residence, they found Manoj, hanging dead in his room.
His body was sent to a government hospital for autopsy and the police started taking necessary actions.
