BREAKING: TN CM Announces Cancellation of ‘Non-Final Year' Semester Exams for Arts & Science Courses!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu news Earlier this week, the Madras High Court had asked the state to take a decision regarding the semester exams for students in colleges and Universities across the state. Complying by the same, the state has made a decision, on July 23.
On Wednesday, CM Edappadi K Palaniswami announced that the semester exams for students who are not in the final year of their courses, in Arts and Science colleges across the state will remain cancelled. Considering the coronavirus situation in the state, this decision has been arrived at to ensure the safety of the students.
The press release read that the semester exams of :
- UG Engineering– 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years
- PG Engineering – 1st years
- UG Arts – 1st and 2nd years
- PG Arts – 1st years
- MCA – 1st and 2nd years
will remain cancelled.
