COVID-19 in TN: District Wise Breakup, Total Positive Cases, Deaths and Recoveries as on Oct 3

Tamil Nadu on Saturday, October 3, reported 5,622 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state to 6,14,507.

The following is the COVID-19 statistics that has been shared by the Health Department of Tamil Nadu:   

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  46,255. 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 3,70,963 / 2,43,513 / 31.  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –189 (66 Govt +123 Private).  

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –  76,13,999.  

- Total number of samples tested today – 87,311. 
   
- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date –   73,90,255.  

- Total number of persons tested today –  85,446.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 5,58,534.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,596.  

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 65 (24 Private & 41 Govt) / total 9,718.
