Tamil Nadu on Sunday, 31 May, reported 1149 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state 22,333 cases.
The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of 31 May:
Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 9400
Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive today – 729/417/3
Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 14,065/ 8,259/ 9
Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 72 (43 government and 29 private)
Total number of samples tested till date – 4,91,962
Total number of samples tested today – 12,807
Total number of persons tested till date – 4,69,282
Total number of persons tested today – 12,049
Total number of suspected individuals in isolation ward admission – 6,710
Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 12,757
Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 757
