TN opens to Business: List of 34 Standalone Shops allowed to Function from Tomorrow

The Tamil Nadu government has released a list of 34 standalone shops that are allowed to function from Monday in areas that fall under Chennai Police limit and others districts (except in containment zones).

The list of shops include:

1 - Tea shops (only for takeaways)

2 - Bakeries (only for takeaways)

3 - Hotels (only for takeaways)

4 - Shops selling Flowers, Fruits, Vegetables and Groceries

5 - Shops selling construction materials.

6 - Shops selling Cement, Hardware and Sanitaryware.

7 - Mobile phone sales and service shops.

8 - Laptop sales and service shops.

9 - Shops selling house hold appliances

10 - Motor sales and service shops.

11 - Specs sales and service shops.

12 - Small jewellery shops (those without AC)

13 - Small dress shops (those without AC - only in rural areas)

14 - Mixer and grinder service shops.

15 - Television sales and service shops.

16 - Furniture shops.

17 - Petti shops.

18 - Electrical and electronic sales shops.

19 - Laundry shops.

20 - Courier and parcel service.

21 - Lorry booking service.

22 - Xerox shops.

23 - Shops selling two wheelers and four wheelers.

24 - Two wheelers and four wheelers service/repair shops.

25 - Tiles shops

26 - Paint shops

27 - Shops selling traditional medicines.

28 - Shops selling automobile spare parts.

29 - Nursery gardens.

30 - Thallu vandi shops.

31 - Saw mills.

32 - Shops selling agricultural needs.

33 - Electrical and electronic service centres.

34 - Wood furnishing and ply wood shops.
