TN Records 'Highest Death Toll In A Day' Today: Check Positive Cases & Recoveries As On July 30 

Tamil Nadu on Thursday, July 30, reported 5,864 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 2,39,978.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of July 30:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   57,962 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  1,45,615 / 94,336 / 27  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –119 (58 Govt + 61 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –   25,97,862 

- Total number of samples tested today –  61,202    

- Total number of persons tested till date –  25,01,919 

- Total number of persons tested today –  59,437 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 1,78,178 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 5,295 

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 97 (32 Private & 65 Govt) / total 3,838
