Highest Ever 'Corona Deaths' Reported, Today - Total Positive Cases, Recoveries And Other details As On July 3

Tamil Nadu on Friday, July 3, reported 4,329 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,02,721. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of July 3:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   42,955* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  63,016 / 39,683 / 22  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –91 (48 Govt + 43 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –    12,70,720

- Total number of samples tested today –    35,028   

- Total number of persons tested till date –     12,13,891 

- Total number of persons tested today – 34,242 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  58,378 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  2,357 

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 64 (22 Private and 42 Govt) / total 1,385
