COVID-19 in TN Today: Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On July 2

Tamil Nadu on Thursday, July 2, reported 4,343 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 98,392. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of July 2:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   41,047* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  60,395 / 37,975 / 22  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –91 (48 Govt + 43 Private) 

- Total number of samples tested till date –     12,35,692 

- Total number of samples tested today –    33,488    

- Total number of persons tested till date –     98,392 

- Total number of persons tested today –  4,343 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  56,021 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  3,095 

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 57 (20 Private and 37 Govt) / total 1,321
