The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of July 1:
- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 39,856*
- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 57,844 / 36,183 / 22
- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –91 (48 Govt + 43 Private)
- Total number of samples tested till date – 12,02,204
- Total number of samples tested today – 31,521
- Total number of persons tested till date – 94,049
- Total number of persons tested today – 3,882
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 52,926
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 2,852
- Total number of deaths today / till date - 63 (26 Private and 37 Govt) / total 1,264
