TN Records Another Rise in Death Toll Today: Check Positive Cases & Recoveries As On August 4

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of August 4:
- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) - 55,152
- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 1,62,476 / 1,05,782 / 27
- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –125 (60 Govt + 65 Private)
- Total number of samples tested till date – 28,92,395
- Total number of samples tested today – 55,122
- Total number of persons tested till date – 27,86,250
- Total number of persons tested today – 52,955
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 2,08,784
- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 6,501
- Total number of deaths today / till date - 108 (25 Private & 83 Govt) / total 4,349
