COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu Today: Check Positive Cases, Deaths And Recoveries As On August 11   

Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, August 11, reported 5,834 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 3,08,649.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of August 11:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   52,810.  

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –   1,86,156 / 1,22,464 / 29.   

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –131 (61 Govt + 70 Private) 

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –  33,60,450            

- Total number of samples tested today –  67,492    

- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date –  32,40,339 

- Total number of persons tested today –  65,490 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 2,50,680 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 6,005 

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 118 (47 Private & 71 Govt) / total 5,159
