Tamil Nadu: Case Registered Against 4,100 Curfew Violators!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsThe Tamil Nadu police have registered cases against 4,100 people in the past two days for violating Section 144.
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy had earlier said strict legal action would be taken against those who violate the curfew.
The government and the police department have been continuously appealing to people to go on quarantine and to not step out unless for compelling reasons.
Six new positive cases of Coronavirus were reported from the state on Friday taking the total number of positive cases to Thirty-five.
"6 new positive cases of #Covid19 in TN, 2 family contacts from #MDU #CN12, 2 contacts from #Erode CN5,6 ,1 contact of CN14 of Chennai, 1 25yr old fem, resident of Chennai, admitted in Ariyalur GH reported positive #TN_together_AgainstCorona , making the total tally to 35 so far," National Health Mission - Tamil Nadu said in a tweet.
