Tamil Nadu Board Exam Paper Evaluation & Results: Official Update by TN Govt
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsAmid speculations about the result, Report from NDTV confirmed that the rumours about announcement of results is totally false since no official announcement has been made by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan also clarified in his tweet that announcement regarding the dates for conducting the pending papers of TN SSLC Exam 2020 will be made only after lockdown. He also confirmed that the evaluation work for TN 12th Result 2020 for HSE Exam will also be declared only after the national lockdown is lifted on 3rd May.
Various state and central boards have not been able to finish the board examination due to the nationwide lockdown that was imposed on March 25th. Even the states that managed to finish the exams have not released the results due to evaluation problems.
Bihar is the only state in the country that has been able to release the results of 12th class. The pass percentage of students is 80.44% in the state.
News about the Lockdown is awaited, as states and central education boards wait for the lockdown to be lifted in order to take decisions regarding evaluation, conducting examinations and announcement of results.
The nationwide lockdown was initially set to be lifted on April 15th but it has been extended further to May 3rd to control the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.
