"Thalaivanangugiren Thamizhagame," Stalin tweets! DMK's landslide victory without Kalaignar
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsAfter leading the Lok Sabha elections and Bye-polls DMK's chief M K Stalin has thanked Tamil Nadu on his Twitter account.
Tamil Nadu voted in 38 constituencies excluding Vellore for Lok Sabha and in 22 constituencies for bye-polls. The votes were counted on May 23, today. Both ADMK and DMK faced the elections for the first time without the face of their parties, Jayalalitha and Karunanidhi, respectively.
In Lok Sabha elections, DMK and alliances are set to win in all except 1 while in bye-polls they are set to win in 13 constituencies. The DMK chief took it to Twitter to thank the people for the landslide win.
He has thanked the people from the heart and promised to retain and gaurd the trust the people has placed upon them. You can see the full tweet here.
