Right after his travel information was revealed, the opposition party leader MK Stalin expressed his views which criticized the CM's foreign trip.
While AIADMK ministers including Jayakumar sided by EPS and replied to MK Stalin saying "MK Stalin always finds mistakes in all our activities. Our CM has gone for the growth of Tamil Nadu only. If he couldn't appreciate then it is better to remain without saying anything".
Meanwhile, Edappadi returned back from his trip and has been attending events in Tamil Nadu. In a recent event conducted for the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu Arignar Anna’s 101st birth Anniversary, EPS expressed his opinion on the impending growth of Tamil Nadu and secret behind MK Stalin's frequent foreign trips.
He said "During DMK rule they made a lot of money and set business firms in foreign nations. It is only for that reason MK Stalin visits foreign countries quite often. That is how the talk among the people”. He further added 'Chennai will soon become a place like Dubai under AIADMK rule'.
