Rajinikanth Likely to Launch Political Party in April; Brief Report
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsIn December 2017 Super Star of Tamil Cinema Rajinikanth announced that he will venture into Tamil Nadu politics amidst massive fans crowd. According to the latest reports, Rajinikanth is likely to launch his political party in April 2020. As per the News 18 report, Rajinikanth is in talks with regional political leaders to strengthen his political party.
While Tamil Nadu State Assembly Elections will be held in 2021, there would not be a better time for the Superstar actor to step into mainstream politics than this year. The speculations say that Rajinikanth has a clear understanding of gaining political influence in Tamil Nadu and has already made necessary arrangements through Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM).
Rajinikanth's recent political statement in which he criticized Periyar for the incident that happened in 1971 created controversy among the Dravidian ideologists. Recently Rajinikanth supported CAA saying that it won't affect any Indian Muslims and he will be the first person to voice against it if such a thing happens.
Apparently Rajinikanth's political stand is the talk of the town and we would have to wait a little longer to see if people welcome him as the right person to fill the 'Political Vaccum' as quoted by Rajinikanth himself.
