New Restrictions For 10th, 11th and 12th Std Public Exams
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsThe Directorate of School Education has announced new restrictions for the public exams conducted for class 10, 11 and 12 students in Tamil Nadu.
As per Thanthi TV report, private school teachers should not be used for 10th, 11th and 12th std public examinations. The report further added that people without any sort of ID proof will not be permitted for the exams.
Regarding TN Public Exams
Until 2018, the public exams for school students were conducted only for Classes 10 and 12 throughout Tamil Nadu. In 2018, the Tamil Nadu Education Minister announced SSLC/HSE public examination for Class 11 students as well.
In September 2019, public exams for Class 5 and Class 8 students were announced by the TN Education Minister.
However, due to plenty of difference of opinions and requests from many educationalists, the proposal was cancelled last week (February 4) by School Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan.
