Inside Loss of Chengalpattu Tollgate Clash Revealed
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsOn January 26, the Paranur Tollgate in Chengalpattu district was attacked after an argument broke out between government bus driver and Tollgate employees.
Reportedly an argument between the Chennai - Trichy government bus driver Narayanan and Tollgate employees turned violent.
It is said that the Tollgate employees attacked Narayanan which did not go well with other passengers and onlookers. Driven by a fit of pure rage, the Tollgate was destroyed completely.
Followed by the incident, a case has been registered against driver Narayanan, conductor Mudiyarasan and Tollgate employee Kuldeep Singh. All the three were imprisoned.
According to the latest reports, the inside loss of Tollgate was revealed by the authorities. A case has been registered followed by a complaint raised by the Tollgate authorities saying that INR 18 lakhs went missing from the 12 booths after the attack.
