Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsDue to North-East monsoon season, Tamil Nadu is seeing moderate to heavy showers since the past week. While this has come as a boon to the people as they have been suffering with water issues and climate during the summer, rain on Diwali is a major concern for the people.
A private metorologist Pradeep John reported that Tamil Nadu is likely to experience rainfall for the next 10 days.
On Diwali, reportedly it may rain heavily, especially in the northern part of the state and the Delta region.
Government has also announced that the time for playing with crackers is between 6 and 7 am and 7 and 8pm.
