Chinese President Visit: Traffic Diversions at Chennai, Work from Home for IT Offices!

PM Modi and Chinese President Xi jinping are coming to Chennai Airport on Friday in the afternoon. Later, they are set to meet in Mahapallipuram in the evening.
The meeting and events related to the meeting will go on till Saturday afternoon. Accordingly, traffic has been diverted on OMR, Guindy, Kathipara, Shollinganallur, Little Mount and places around South Chennai.
Since South Chennai is the IT Hub and many major companies are in the area, the companies have asked the employees to work from home to avoid traffic issues.
Schools and colleges were also adviced to keep a check to avoid traffic-related issues by the police department. MRTS buses may also be restricted and no heavy vehicle is allowed during the day.
